As with all other aspects of our work, we choose to only use the best materials and components, therefore all our metalwork is powder coated. We do also recommend to use one of two undercoat options for much more durable finish. Zinc rich primer Zinc rich primer undercoat is a good choice undercoat with very good protection. The Powder coating company we use, have advised us that zinc rich primer on its own should protect the metal for over 5 years. With a powder coated finish it should extend that time to over 10 years. Hot zinc spray Hot zinc spray undercoat is a more durable undercoat with a protection life span of up to 20 years. It is a very popular choice for decorative metalwork that requires ultimate protection without compromising the quality of the surface. With a powder coated finish it will provide over 20 years protection from the corrosion. Coating colours Most colours of RAL colour chart are available as standard. We also offer various custom finishes including architectural powder coating with textured finish for unique projects. |
